Qingling Isuzu Road Friction Testing Vehicle
This road inspection vehicle is built on the Qingling Isuzu QL1110ANPWY medium-truck type-II chassis, powered by an Isuzu 4HK1-TCG61 5.2L diesel engine (139 kW / approximately 189 hp) with a gross vehicle weight of 10550 kg. Overall dimensions are 8300/8380 × 2295 × 2930/3120 mm, with a 5200 mm wheelbase, axle loads of 3500/7050 kg, curb weight of 6310 kg, and GVW of 10550 kg (rated payload 3850–4045 kg). It reaches a top speed of 110 km/h, with approach and departure angles of 17°/12°, six 235/75R17.5 16PR tires, and leaf spring counts of 8/10+6. The engine is a 4HK1-TCG61 displacing 5193 ml with 139 kW output (Isuzu China), compliant with China VI emission standards; ABS is supplied by Zhejiang Asia-Pacific APG3550500H1 or Guangzhou Ruilikemi CM4XL-4S/4M, with optional ETC, roof-mounted surveillance camera, rear arrow board, and side work lights (parking use only). Rear protection is Q235A channel 140×50 at 470 mm ground clearance; side protection is Q235A at 420 mm. Dedicated equipment includes a friction testing system, water tank, control cabinet, water pump, and air compressor, primarily for pavement friction coefficient testing; in public government procurement configurations it also integrates longitudinal distance sensors, infrared temperature sensors, specialized testing devices, and high-frequency laser displacement sensors. As a mobile pavement performance inspection platform, it performs dynamic and fixed-point friction coefficient and skid-resistance testing on trunk highways, urban roads, and airport runways, with data supporting maintenance decisions and safety inspections.
