IVECO 2045 4WD Field Kitchen Truck
Built on the Nanjing IVECO 2045 (NJ2045) four-wheel-drive off-road chassis, this field kitchen truck integrates a complete kitchen module capable of independent cooking and hot-meal distribution in remote areas without external water, electricity, or gas supply. The drivetrain features part-time 4×4 with front and rear axle differential locks plus low-range four-wheel drive — effectively triple-locking — for strong off-road capability. Power comes from a SOFIM 2.8T/3.0T diesel engine delivering 95–132 kW (approximately 130–179 hp), compliant with China VI emission standards, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Fitted with LT265/75R16 10PR all-terrain tires, it achieves an approach angle of approximately 37°, departure angle of 18°, and a fording depth of 1.1–1.2 m. With a gross vehicle weight of around 4.5 tons, a top speed of 90–140 km/h depending on configuration, and a 2–3 person cab, it is designed for rugged field deployment. The kitchen module includes a two-burner stove, rice steamer and steam cabinet, stainless-steel worktops, refrigerator-freezer, temperature-zoned storage, and exhaust ventilation. The self-contained utility system features fresh and wastewater tanks, diesel generator or lithium-battery independent power supply, a mains inlet, and optional solar assistance to achieve fully off-grid closed-loop catering. Ideal for field-unit meal supply, training and garrison support, disaster emergency relief, border and remote-area routine catering, and large-event mobile kitchen operations.
